The paper presents morphological description of horse remains from the elite burial complex Tsaram dated to Xiongnu period. is located in Kyakhtinsky district Republic Buryatia (Russia) and consists one central № 7 accompanying funerary objects. In grave pit largest a typical Han chariot was found, which damaged during later intrusions. skeletal (skull, two cervical vertebrae, metapodials phalanges) belonged stallion were excavated near chariot. At northern edge sacrificial with numerous domestic animals discovered. animal sacrifice included 25 individuals, both males females. All bone originate incomplete skeletons: only bones head, distal parts forelimbs hind limbs are presented. anatomical composition skeletons suggests that funeral practice skins used instead whole carcasses.
